Known issue: extremely complex or very dense models can sometimes fail to place connectors or export correctly. We're actively working on this — see the Help & FAQ page for workarounds in the meantime.

One connector per face — place a second one on a different face for a stronger join.
While placing, the shape on the model shows the connector's actual size and position. Its color is a live fit check: green = flat, reliable spot, yellow = some curve nearby, red = risky — try a flatter spot nearby.
Click anywhere on the part's surface below to place this connector — the matching male/female piece is created automatically on whichever part it connects to (pick a different one from the "Connect to" dropdown after placing if the guess is wrong).
